commercial waterproofing technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a waterproofing technician. This person will be required to learn multiple scopes of work including but not limited to: joint sealants, air barriers, and below grade waterproofing. This role is essential in ensuring the successful execution of various construction projects. This position requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety on the job site. Responsibilities • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks • Apply waterproofing systems and caulking materials to exterior concrete surfaces. • Operate heavy equipment as required for specific tasks on-site. • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes. • All employees are responsible for working safely and productively, as well as recognition and awareness of hazards in their work areas. Employees are also responsible for following safe work practices, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), engineering and administrative controls where necessary. Qualifications • Valid drivers license and ability to travel if necessary • Relevant experience in commercial waterproofing or exterior caulking. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Self motivated and responsible • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise on-site. • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and stakeholders. • Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment.
