Commissioned Security Officer

You will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and ensuring the security of individuals and property. Duties • Conduct regular patrols to deter and detect criminal activity and ensure public safety. • Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents, providing assistance as needed. • Enforce property rules and state and local laws, as applicable. • Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities and gather evidence. • Engage in conflict management strategies to resolve disputes effectively. • Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals involved in incidents. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other security personnel to enhance community safety efforts. • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage in assigned areas. Qualifications • Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory. • Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and security protocols. • Proficiency in conflict management skills to handle various situations calmly and effectively. • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. • Ability to operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems. • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with the public and team members. • A commitment to ethical conduct, professionalism, and community service. Required Equipment • Duty belt with 2 spare magazines, handcuffs, an approved duty weapon, and level 3 retention holster. • OD Green or khaki tactical style pants. (i.e. - 5.11 tactical, First Tactical) • Black shoes or boots • Company polo shirts provided • Body armor suggested, but not required This is a 1099 contractor position.
