Job Description
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Compliance Coordinator position. The Compliance Coordinator is part of the Risk Management Team and is responsible for maintaining Norco compliance documentation related to applicable laws and regulations, business-critical technical certifications, and worker’s compensation claims. Certifications include Joint Commission medical accreditation, and ISO 9001. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate in the maintenance of Norco’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Support compliance efforts in maintaining Norco’s medical accreditation.
- Assist in administering Norco’s Safety Planning and OSHA compliance efforts.
- Act as liaison between Norco departments and branches, and the Risk
- Management Department team.
- Administration of document control activities throughout the organization.
- Assist in the administration of VelocityEHS applications
- Assist in ensuring timely tracking of safety incidents and worker compensation in compliance with Norco policy, applicable statutes, regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Administration and coordination of Norco’s online training university.
- Tracking and retention of training records required by Norco and regulatory agencies.
- Maintenance of Driver Qualification File (DQF) documents, maintain DQF and report on status.
- Verify professional staff licensing, training, insurance and professional licensing.
- Administer and maintain licensure/registration requirements for local, state and federal regulatory bodies (business licenses, board of pharmacy, weights & measures, FDA, DOT, DUNS, etc.).
- Collect and compile reports on the status of key performance measurements.
- Administration and access to 3rd Party software applications relating to Risk Management.
- Perform other tasks as assigned or needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of quality and safety terms and concepts
- Two years of experience in a related technical or administrative position
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
