Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Compliance Specialist to join the GRC team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
Join the team that protects and enables Delivery Hero’s growth. In the Legal Team, you’ll support key initiatives by providing proactive legal guidance that aligns business goals with regulatory standards. Your work will help mitigate risks and ensure we’re positioned for sustainable, long-term success—making you a key contributor to our mission of delivering amazing experiences worldwide.
In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of compliance activities, including policy review and development, risk mitigation analysis, compliance monitoring and testing, and collaboration with departments across a multicultural and highly diverse Delivery Hero Group. You will also lead and support internal investigations into compliance breaches and misconduct, ensuring our organization adheres to the highest ethical standards. Support Policy Implementation: Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and updating of Sanctions Policies and Procedures, while contributing to the global rollout of the Compliance Management System and key policies (e.g., Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest, Anti-Bribery & Corruption). Tailor policies to regional legal and regulatory requirements.

Risk Mitigation:Â Conduct comprehensive assessments of financial crime risk exposures, with emphasis on sanctions-related risks. Oversee the quality of sanctions control processes, and help establish global standards to mitigate sanctions risks and safeguard Delivery Hero Group.

Control Analysis: Work with the central compliance team to analyze existing controls, evaluate their effectiveness in meeting regulatory requirements, and document findings and recommendations for improvement.

Training & Development: Train new and existing personnel on Sanctions Policies and other compliance-related areas, ensuring consistent adherence across the organization.

Compliance Monitoring & Testing: Conduct risk-based monitoring, compliance assessments, and testing of internal policies and controls. Identify gaps, recommend remedial actions, and ensure ongoing compliance with evolving regulations.

Regulatory Expertise: Stay informed on key regulatory changes in Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, German Supply Chain Act and other compliance areas, as well as industry trends and enforcement actions.

Reporting & Documentation: Assist in preparing reports summarizing testing objectives, findings, and recommendations, and contribute to the development of remediation plans.

Compliance Support: Serve as the point of contact for compliance inquiries within the Delivery Hero Group, particularly regarding economic sanctions and related topics.

Investigations & Misconduct Response: Manage the compliance response to non-compliant behavior, including internal investigations and the handling of whistleblower cases.
Qualifications
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field (or in the process of obtaining one).

2+Â years of experience in compliance, audit, or related fields (preferred but not a must).

Familiarity with compliance regulations (such as Corruption Prevention, Sanctions, or the German Supply Chain Act) is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an interest in explaining complex topics clearly.

German language skills are a plus, but not mandatory.

A proactive, detail-oriented, and eager-to-learn attitude.
