Playtech's Sound team is seeking a talented Composer to collaborate with our international team and create immersive in-game music, design sound effects, and prepare sound packages for our online games.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Create in-game music in a variety of genres for online games.
• Design sound effects and musical parts for animations and game events.
• Prepare game packages in a variety of sound formats.
• Edit and mix sound for promo videos.

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

• Are passionate about composing and music production.
• Drive to work as part of a creative team of game designers.
• Have the desire to improve game performance and player engagement.
• Compose new and original music on a daily basis.
• Possess high-level work skills with DAW - editing, mixing, and arranging - Ableton, Nuendo, Pro Tools, etc.
• Play and record any musical instrument for the purpose of composing music.
• Have availability to work from a home studio and communicate with a remote team.
• Learn and understand online game behavior and how it relates to sound implementation techniques.
• Demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude, contributing to a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Communicate proficiently in English.

Additional Information

Playtech’s sound team:

There are several global game production studios within the Playtech family. Each studio is comprised of Game Producers, Artists, Animators, Mathematicians and Developers who collaborate to create high quality content for top performing games. These games are then distributed to our clients and players around the world.

As Composer you be part of our sound creative team, reporting to the Sound Director, and work closely with Game Producers and Studio Artists to bring our content to life using music and sound effects.
