Compounding Pharmacist

We are accepting applications for a Compounding Staff Pharmacist. We require that you have some cleanroom expierence and compounding knowledge. As a Compounding Pharmacist (Sterile/Non-Sterile & Hazardous/Non-Hazardous Compounding) you will be working with cutting edge technology compounding specialized and complex therapies within the clean room environment. The Compounding Lab Pharmacist has an essential role in ensuring all USP795/797/800 rules and regulations are adhered to, as well as overseeing all patients receive their medications in a timely manner. The Compounding Lab Pharmacist is responsible for utilizing their knowledge alongside the other staff members to provide specialty services to the patients and physicians we serve. Additional responsibilities of the Compounding Pharmacist include: • Preparation and compounding of sterile/non-sterile products • Maintaining the pharmacy clean room lab to USP 795/797/800 requirements • Update and maintain all compounding policies & procedures • Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports • Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key partners and patients Qualifications • Compounding medications • Aseptic technique • Pharmacy software • Licensed Pharmacist Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $130,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off • Store discount Experience: • Cleanroom: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: • New York State Pharmacist Registration (Required) Ability to Commute: • New York, NY 10022 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • New York, NY 10022: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
