Computed Tomography Technologist ‐ (CT Tech)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8/12 D/E/N Pay Rate: $2399.87 ‐ $2629.64

Job Responsibilities:•u0009Greets patients, explains procedures to patients, answers their questions, shows patient to changing room and assists when necessary•u0009For ED/med surg patients, notifies nurse patient will be leaving the unit, ensures they are unhooked from all monitoring equipment, patient passport has been filled out by nurse for med/surg patients, ensures they are appropriately changed for exam, and have necessary ancillary equipment such as O2•u0009Prepares exams rooms to receive patients and ensures the equipment is clean, functioning properly, and all supplies are readily available and ready for use•u0009Prepares patients for exams including getting them changed as required, removing items that could cause artifacts prior to imaging•u0009Utilizes ALARA principles at all times, performs all requested routine and specialty diagnostic radiology exams, and shields every patient when possible•u0009Produces diagnostic images with accurate positioning and optimizes image quality with appropriate technique selection•u0009Closes out exams and sends images for interpretation•u0009Monitors and stocks radiology supplies, consistently checks for expired items, and performs necessary QC and documents when required•u0009Knowledge of equipment maintenance requirements and follows shut down, warm up and QC schedules as appropriate•u0009Performs basic office duties including but not limited to: answering the phone, scheduling radiology exams accurately, assisting with obtaining protocols, ensuring prior authorizations are obtained when necessary, sending images to other facilities and creating discs when requested•u0009Performs necessary record keeping for sending images and scanning documents into PACS and EMR•u0009Takes call as requested and is always available/reachable during on call hours. Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital when on call

Required Qualifications
CT Technologist, Computed Tomography
RAD‐NH(Copy needed)
AND
Certified Radiology Technologist, Radiology
RAD‐NH
Certifications: CTTECH‐American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); BLS‐AHA(Copy needed)
Weekends: Shift‐ Thurs 10a‐6:30p, Sat 6:30a‐11p, and then on call 11p to 6:30a. Sun 6:30a‐ 6:30p

Qualifications / Skills/ Experience:
•u0009Must be a graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technology.
•u0009Must possess ARRT (R) and (CT) or (M)
•u0009New Hampshire Imaging License
•u0009Valid BLS Certification
•u0009Multi‐Modality experience (preferred)
•u0009Excellent customer service and patient care required
•u0009Athena and Cerner experience (preferred)
•u0009Live within 30 min of Hospital for On Call (preferred not required)
