Computer Network Defense Network Analyst (CNDA) Level 2 and Level 3
Position Summary
DarkStar Intelligence is looking for an experienced Computer Defense Network Analyst (CNDA) of all skill levels for a variety of roles to support core Intelligence Community (IC) missions at Fort Meade, Maryland.
Location: Fort Meade, MD
FSLA Status: Full-Time
Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. Citizens
Position Type: On-Site
Clearance Level: TS/SCI FS Polygraph
Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Utilize a diverse set of data from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs to pinpoint potential security vulnerabilities, handle current cyber events, and preempt possible incidents.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies and solutions to bolster network security and safeguard network infrastructure devices or systems from potential attacks.
  • Engage in a wide range of data transmission methods, including traditional wired networks, wireless transport (such as Wi-Fi and cellular), collaborative tools like video conferencing, and their supporting hardware and software.
  • Expand your professional growth as you deepen your knowledge in network protocols and architectures, cloud security, protocols related to the Internet of Things, and advanced network security techniques.
  • Collaborate with government, military, and contract personnel to build a mutual understanding of intelligence requirements, mission objectives, and domain expertise.
  • Leverage your innate inquisitiveness and analytical skills to formulate hypotheses, critically evaluate and select appropriate analytical methodologies, and manipulate, enrich, assess, and reorient data to acquire and disseminate insights.
  • Synthesize, document, and contextualize your discoveries, including any innovative approaches you develop, and communicate these to team members, stakeholders, and users of intelligence.

Minimum Qualifications

  • US government clearance: Top Secret /Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) + Full Scope Polygraph
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Meet the experience and education qualifications determined for each Level
    • Level 2:
      • 2 years’ applicable experience with a PhD, OR
      • 3 years’ applicable experience with a master’s degree, OR
      • 5 years’ applicable experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR
      • 7 years’ applicable experience with an associate degree.
    • Level 3:
      • 4 years’ applicable experience with a PhD, OR
      • 6 years’ applicable experience with a master’s degree, OR
      • 8 years’ applicable experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR
      • 10 years’ applicable experience with an associate degree
