Our Bioinformatics team is changing the medical field by applying our innovative solutions to cutting-edge R&D for medical diagnoses and treatments.Objectives of this Role:
• Join project teams to research and develop new medical ai related objectives for SwRI clients.
• Implement modern and traditional machine learning algorithms that drive decision support systems.
• Find new applications, industries, and clients for novel automation capabilities.Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
• Apply state-of-the-art machine learning software solutions for various artificial intelligent system applications.
• Interact with team members to discuss technical solutions to problems.
• Develop tools and techniques to improve our team's research and development capability.
• Interact with clients (and potential clients) to discuss and propose technical solutions to unique problems.Requirements:
• Requires a Bachelors, Masters or a PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
• 0-5 years: BS candidates must have relevant academic research and/or internship experience. MS and PhD candidates must have completed some graduate work related to machine learning or artificial intelligence.
• Familiarity with Python and Git required. Experience with either SQL or NoSQL database development preferred. Experience with web-based GUI development (Flutter or React.js) preferred. Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes preferred.
• Decision support tool development or Agile full-stack development experience is a plus. Experience meeting HIPAA ePHI requirements a plus. Experience meeting DoDI 8500.1 cybersecurity requirements a plus.
• A valid/clear driver's license is required.Special Requirements:
