Concrete Construction Crew Member-Closeout

A local precast manufacturer is looking for full time closeout construction workers. Experience & Skills • Experience: Looking for people of all experiences from no previous experience to skilled. The below is the minimum experience/job description. • This person must perform the basic duties that require minimal training. For setting precast material with drivers the basic duties include mixing grout, placing grout on manhole bases and inside stacked manholes at the joints, placing joint sealant on manhole bases and on precast material, climbing in and out of excavations to place joint sealant, grout, and guide precast material, and spotting for crane operators. For concrete pour crews this person will be required to assist in forming manhole by carrying forms, stripping forms and any other physical labor as directed by the Lead man on that job. Required to read a tape measure. Required to climb up and down ladder up to 35’ deep. • This role will require the competent use of small tools, primarily a hand mixer and use of a generator including gas and oil levels. The person will be required to be confined space Trained in House. • Primary job will be to mix grout, Trowel-able epoxy coating, clean the trowel tools and the work area. This person will also be required to enter a manhole and grout joints, and place Vacuum plugs. • Skills: Proficiency in usingsmallhand and power tools. Job Responsibilities: • Concrete work and concrete product installation • Cleaning up work area and making sure work station is safe • Patching, scraping and grinding concrete products • Forming, setting, and making sure concrete manholes are properly constructed • Traveling to and from job sites around the Phoenix metropolitan with other crew members • Coating manholes; any paint spray experience is great. Key Responsibilities • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Job Requirements: • Must have valid drivers license • Crew Members start between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. • Must have flexibility to work overtime - Average 50 hours per week • Physically be able to climb into and out of manholes • Physically able to climb up and down 35' ladders safely Listed Pay Range is dependent upon experience.
