Concrete Construction Crew Member - Concrete FINISHER

A local precast manufacturer is looking for full time concrete finishers. Experience & Skills • Experience: Typically, 1–3 years of experience in concrete finishing is required. • This position requires the ability to pour out Manhole bases with proper form and shape of inverts. The Position must independently finish the bases per spec, include flow, direction, and appearance per inspection requirements. The Position requires the ability to use simple wood forming to correct dimensions and strength to hold concrete. This Position requires knowledge of Olson AZ BOM and required paperwork. • Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as trowels, screeds, and floats. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Job Responsibilities: • Concrete work and concrete product installation • Cleaning up work area and making sure work station is safe • Patching, scraping and grinding concrete products • Forming, setting, and making sure concrete manholes are properly constructed • Traveling to and from job sites around the Phoenix metropolitan with other crew members • Coating manholes; any paint spray experience is great. Key Responsibilities • Surface Preparation: Level, smooth, and finish surfaces of poured concrete, including floors, sidewalks, roads, and curbs. • Form Setting: Set and align forms to ensure proper concrete placement and alignment according to project specifications. • Curing & Sealing: Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surfaces, ensuring durability and strength. • Repairs: Repair and resurface existing concrete structures, patching voids and defects in new concrete. • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environmen Job Requirements: • Must have valid drivers license • Crew Members start between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. • Must have flexibility to work overtime - Average 50 hours per week INTERVIEWS: PLEASE COME BY OFFICE BETWEEN 5:00AM AND 7:00AM ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS.
