Concrete Finisher/Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and possess the ability to work effectively in various construction environments. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship, ensuring that all concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards. Duties • Prepare and pour concrete for various construction projects, including floors, sidewalks, and foundations. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to shape and finish concrete surfaces. • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and specifications are met. • Apply caulking and other finishing materials as needed for durability and aesthetics. • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including drywall installers and carpenters, to ensure project timelines are met. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines. • Conduct routine inspections of finished work to ensure quality standards are upheld. Experience Candidates should have experience or familiarity with the following skills: • Concrete finishing techniques • Drywall installation • Frame carpentry • Metal stud framing • Blueprint reading • Use of hand tools and power tools • Commercial driving (if applicable) • Tile laying We welcome applicants who are passionate about construction and eager to contribute their skills in a dynamic team environment.
