Concrete Polishing/Polisher Foremen & Laborers

American Concrete Polishing (ACP Blason), is looking for capable individuals to work with our installation teams. We are currently hiring for experienced concrete polishing foremen that can train and lead crews. Additionally, we are hiring concrete polishing laborers. These individuals must be hard working, honest individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Experience with concrete prep (grinding, patching, vacuuming) a plus. Requirements Excellent communication skills. Good physical shape and ability to keep up with the workload. Reliable mode of transportation. Open availability. Able to work weekends, if necessary. Able to travel out of town, able to work nights, and can work well in a team environment. Foremen Job Duties Duties Include, but are not limited to: • Occasionally, take work trips on short notice per management. • Trains and monitors employees. • Ability to repair broken equipment on site as needed. • Able to work long hours, including mandatory and voluntary overtime/double time. • Write and send daily work reports to management daily. • Report accurate man hours on daily work reports including travel time hours. • Ability to read, write and send emails professionally to PM/Contractor. • Utilizes correct process and procedure when prepping floors, polishing concrete, performing repairs, using chemicals, and operating tools and machines to ensure safety, quality product, timely delivery and cost efficiency, trains team members as necessary. • Follows all Safety procedures; reminds team members of safety issues, reports concern to management. Ensure everyone has PPE and adequate drinking water. • Ensures all equipment is accounted for and stored in neat, orderly manner and in good operating condition. • Drive company vehicles, and/or tow trailers. • Operates equipment and tools in a safe manner; reports any issues for repair immediately to Project Manager and Operations. • Reports any incidents or accidents to Project Manager/and or Human Resources. • Ensures timely, and quality completion of each job while performing as cost-effectively as possible. • Properly, replenish Foremen toolbox as needed. • Delegate tasks to team members and assure they all have clear directions. • Strives to meet and exceed company and customer expectations. • Communicates professionally, respectfully, and effectively. • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. • Other duties as assigned by Management. Laborer Job Duties Duties Include, but are not limited to: • Occasionally requires moving/driving Company trucks • Operate heavy machinery, hand grinders, and other polishing equipment safely. • Occasionally, take work trips on short notice per management. • Reliable transportation to and from work. • Able to work weekends and various start times. • Drive company vehicles, and/or tow trailer. • Must be a hard worker and willing to learn and take on new responsibilities. • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. • Other duties as assigned by Management.
