Real Network Services Construction CPA Location: Dallas TX Job Type: Full-time Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm Reports To: CEO & COO Job Summary: REAL Network Services are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedCertified Public Accountant (CPA)with a strong background in theconstruction industryto join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing financial operations, job costing, project budgeting, and compliance for construction projects and company-wide financial strategy. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant experience and a deep understanding of construction accounting standards and best practices. About REAL Inc. Real Electrical & Network Services and Real General Constructions specialize in full Turnkey Services for "Division 16, Electrical" services which includes Electrical, Voice & Data Fire Alarm and Control Systems and Commercial Construction projects respectively. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee financial reporting, general ledger, budgeting, and forecasting for construction projects • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements • Analyze and interpret job cost reports, WIP schedules, and cash flow projections • Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant industry regulations • Collaborate with project managers and executives to monitor project budgets and profitability • Manage audits, tax filings, and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors • Implement and maintain internal controls and financial procedures specific to the construction industry • Provide strategic financial guidance to support company growth and efficiency • Prepare reports for bonding, insurance, and banking purposes • Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules Requirements: • CPA license (active and in good standing) • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in construction accounting • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) • Extensive knowledge of GAAP, construction accounting, and job costing • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage 300 CRE, QuickBooks, Viewpoint, or similar) • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Experience with contract billing, retainage, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Education: • Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: • CPA: 10 years (Required) Ability to Commute: • Dallas, TX 75235 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Dallas, TX 75235: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
