Construction Driver/Laborer

Interested in getting into residential construction? Chicago General Contractor is looking for a driver/laborer for our residential remodeling company. Interested applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and a reasonably clean driving record. Work responsibilites include the following: • Delivering material and tools to job sites • Securing shipping tickets and receipts for all materials & turning in paperwork weekly • Driving and maintaining company pick-up truck • Loading and unloading and organizing materials and tools • Maintaining shop in orderly condition • Assisting carpenters and doing demolition work as assigned • Job site cleanliness • Maintaining safe and orderly worksites • Other activities as directed by the project managersOur office is based in the west loop and most of our work is within 10 miles of the center of the city.
