Waterproofing Estimator / Project Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for preparing and submitting bids in accordance with CHM Weatherguard systems and processes. Project Management duties include handling customer requests through completion of the project, transition of all required information and documentation to the production staff and management and development of the customer relationship.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The person in this position should be a highly motivated, multi-tasking, goal-oriented person who is able to manage priorities on multiple ongoing projects. The Estimator/Project Manager must have a strong and proven background in all facets of managing waterproofing projects. The Estimator/Project Manager must understand the technical aspects of waterproofing installation. The Estimator/Project Manager should be able to identify problems and solutions through examination of job blueprints and job summaries
REQUIREMENTS
Education Required: High School diploma
Education Preferred: Associates Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree
Licensing / Registration / Certification: Valid drivers’ license and clean driving record.
Work Experience Preferred: 2+ years working as a waterproofing estimator
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities with multiple ongoing projects. Must be familiar with industry codes and company standards. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary since there are meetings, conferences, planning sessions to attend and face-to-face encounters. Must be able to read, write and speak English very well. Computer literacy is essential, proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must. Experience with On Screen Takeoff or other type of computer-based takeoff software preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Prepare and submit bids
• Meet or exceed annual sales goal
• Maintain minimum close ratio
• Meet or exceed monthly marketing goals
• Conduct and document follow up on all open bids
• Complete assigned bids on time
• Ensure all bids are processed with appropriate pricing elements including but not limited to labor, materials, equipment, production rates, overhead and profit
• Obtain and review project documentation
• Perform quantity take off with On-Screen Takeoff
• Perform all Project Management duties on assigned projects including but not limited to contract negotiation, material submittals, scheduling, ongoing pricing, customer service and project close out.
• Provide timely turnaround on all requested Change Orders.
• Conduct Turnover Meetings with required production employees per procedure. Discussion should include highlights of job, potential concerns on the job, long lead time materials, review of job drawings.
• Attends all project related meetings as required. Arrives on time, prepared and participates at the required level.
• Provides timely support to field personnel as required.
• Attends weekly sales meeting prepared with all required information to present prior week’s performance and upcoming weeks plans including but not limited to: bids submitted with associated dollar amount, bids in process, contracts won, marketing completed, marketing scheduled, status of follow up on pending bids

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
