Construction Forman Carpenter

Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Forman to oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role is critical in maintaining safety standards and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations while supervising various construction activities. Duties • Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship. • Schedule project timelines and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. • Utilize construction management software for project tracking, reporting, and documentation. • Read and interpret schematics to guide construction activities accurately. • Oversee the building process, ensuring all work is performed according to safety regulations and industry standards. • Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards and enforce compliance with OSHA guidelines. • Assist in construction estimating by providing input on labor, materials, and time requirements for projects. Requirements • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and OSHA regulations. • Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and construction management software. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. • Experience in pipeline construction or related fields is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Physical stamina to work on-site for extended periods.
