Construction Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities • Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment. • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed. • Perform general labor tasks such as lifting, and carrying materials. • Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks effectively. • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety. • Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on-site. Qualification • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction tasks. • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus. • A valid driver's license is preferred but not required. • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. • Must be able to follow directions from Foreman and have a positive attitude. Starting wage: $22 per hour, with a wage increase upon completion of the probationary period.
