Construction Laborer

Corza Construction is currently accepting applications for the position of construction laborer. FLSA:Non-Exempt. Hire Pay: DOE. Job Type:Full-Time. Job Description:The Construction Laborer is responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types. May assist other craft workers Job Summary: • Operate and care for construction equipment and machines. • Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled laborers when necessary. • Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. • Load or unload construction materials. • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. • Ability to work in all weather. • Must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry. • Ability to assist with painting, masonry, concrete, groundskeeping maintenance and other types of construction work. Minimum Qualifications: • Eligible to work in the US. • Must pass background check. • Bilingual is a plus. • Valid Drivers License. • Minimum of 1 year of experience. Supervision Received and Exercised:Receives supervision from the project manager. Working Conditions:The primary duties of this position are performed both indoors and outdoors. A significant part of the job involves physical activity. There will be prolonged periods of standing and walking during the course of the work. Work conditions involve some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require the implementation of basic safety precautions.
