Construction Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn various aspects of construction. This role involves working on diverse projects, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring that construction sites are safe and organized. A background in masonry, glass installation, roofing, drywall and plumbing is highly desirable. Duties • Assist in the construction and assembly of structures according to blueprints and specifications. • Perform tasks such as masonry work, glass installation, roofing, and plastering as needed. • Operate lifts safely and efficiently under supervision. • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks. • Collaborate with carpenters and other skilled tradespeople on-site to complete projects. • Maintain a clean and organized construction site to ensure safety and efficiency. • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site. Experience • Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train motivated individuals. • Familiarity with blueprint reading is a plus. • Experience with masonry, glass installation, roofing, drywall, plumbing will be advantageous. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
