Construction Laborer/Helper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Construction Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are organized and safe. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities • Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials. • Support skilled tradespeople by providing tools, materials, and assistance as needed during various construction tasks. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. • Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met. • Participate in training sessions to develop skills relevant to the construction industry. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required; we welcome entry-level candidates eager to learn. • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is beneficial. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. • Commitment to safety practices and attention to detail.
