CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT - Project Manager / Superintendent
POSITION SUMMARY:The Construction Management Project Manager is responsible for handling all aspects of construction including estimating, purchasing, and project management from beginning to end, as determined by management. Ability to work on site, travel throughout the United States, and work evenings and weekends is required.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• 0-5+years field experience in commercial construction. Compensation commensurate with experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred. Construction Management a plus. Applicable certifications are desirable
• Ability to occasionally travel to client sites throughout the United States.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Suretrak experience is a plus
• Skill in organizing, analyzing, problem solving, and multi-tasking
• Experience with standard construction equipment, tools, and forming systems
• Ability to build relationships within the organization and with current and prospective clients
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing

Bushman Construction:
• Provides complete commercial Construction Services for both new construction and remodeling projects
• Conducts feasibility planning through final project closeout
• Includes clients such as financial institutions, law firms, retail stores, restaurants, medical practices, trucking facilities, auto dealerships, industrial manufacturing, showrooms, and interior office spaces
• Supports a team approach and collaborative culture and invests in staff members for both individual and organizational success
SCHEDULE:This is a full-time, field position. Hours vary and will include evening and weekend work. Ability to travel up to 50% within the United States is required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION
• Serve as project manager on single or multiple projects as necessary
• Track the estimating process, invite proper contractors to bid for complete coverage, conduct bid walk thru’ s, follow-up with bid scope and questions, scopes bids, and prepare estimate proposal(s) for clients
• Complete the project buyout details
• Post, distribute, and update all project documents, building rules, specifications, plans, etc. so all parties are working off the most current documents
• Provide complete project closeout activates including closeout manual, completed punch list, and change orders
• Understand the full scope of all contracts, track and submit billing invoices, change orders and credits in a timely manner and completes information without direction, whenever possible
• Complete the accounting details, project negotiations and extras, and ensure that all recipients are satisfied with the amounts
• Manage all paperwork – meeting notes, RFI’s, change orders, estimates, bid requests, plan updates, subcontractor pricing, etc.
• Communicate effectively keeping notes for contractor and owner meetings; address complaints; and manage conflict in a win/win style
• Assist in completion of RFIs, contracts, and subcontracts in a professional and concise manner
NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
• May research and present future business development opportunities
• Promote our services and abilities to clients
• Network and build relationships with other professionals in the industry
