Construction Painter

Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial painting, with experience in various aspects of construction and renovation. This role requires attention to detail, a good work ethic, and professionalism. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of projects. Responsibilities • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed. • Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. • Estimate materials needed for each job based on project specifications. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects. • Perform maintenance tasks such as caulking, plastering, and drywall repair. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety. Qualifications • Proven experience in residential and commercial painting. • Experience with plastering, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, concrete finishing, and restoration work is preferred. • Previous construction site experience is essential. • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to painting tasks. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work. • Maintenance Person experience is a plus; familiarity with fixture installation and industrial painting is advantageous. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
