MBA Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking an experiencedProject Manager – Accessibility Repairs & Alterationsto support our government customer’s Accessibility Compliance Team (ACT) in Plano, TX or other various locations across the country. The ACT handles all the accessibility components related to any repair or alteration of any Postal Service utilized facility. The ACT’s main role is the Leased Space Accessibility Program (LSAP). As aProject Manager, you will oversee accessibility upgrades, manage repair and alteration projects, and conduct waiver reviews to ensure all leased facilities meet current accessibility standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in facility build-outs, minor This position requires the Project Manager to be fully onsite for a six-month probationary period during which performance will be evaluated. Upon successful completion of this period, the option to work remotely one day per week may be offered. Join our team and contribute to improving accessibility across essential public facilities! Responsibilities β€’ Manage and conduct all alterations concerning the Postal Service Accessibility Standards, based on the Architectural Barriers Act, (ABA) at leased U.S. Postal Facilities in the Southern Region of the United States (AL, AR, FL, GA, MS, LA, OK, & TX) β€’ Perform site surveying and investigation, developing cost estimates, reviewing of β€’ Will manage several minor β€’ Oversees all aspects of projects β€’ Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project β€’ Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project β€’ Familiar with a variety of facility build-out and minor β€’ Leads and directs the work of others, generally outside vendors β€’ Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals β€’ Performs a variety of tasks β€’ A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected β€’ Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department Basic Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree β€’ 7+ years of experience in the field or in a related area such as: managing facilities projects and minor β€’ Experience with ABA compliance β€’ Experience with facility build-outs and/or minor β€’ Familiarity with public-sector concepts, practices, and procedures β€’ Proficiency using MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook β€’ Ability to travel (minimal) and work flexible hours when needed β€’ Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check & drug test β€’ Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance MBA Consulting Services, Inc.
