Revolution Workshop is a social enterprise that provides carpentry and woodworking workforce development for unemployed or underemployed people in partnership with area businesses.

Position Description: Revolution Workshop is looking for an experienced tradesperson passionate about growing the future of construction in Chicago. This individual demonstrates technical and experiential competence in construction and project management, with considerable experience operating construction job-site projects.
Reporting Structure
β This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Occasional evening and/or weekend events required and will flex hours accordingly.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This position is full-time and year-round βContractingβ side of our Social Enterprise. A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to be able to execute a variety of construction and renovation projects.
β Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
β Coordinate construction schedules and collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and staff.
β Maintain and update project documentation including drawings, RFIs, and change orders.
β Conduct job site walkthroughs to assess project status, quality, and compliance.
β Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards.
β Support procurement of materials and equipment.
β Prepare progress reports and assist with stakeholder communications.
β Help manage punch lists and project close-out documentation.
β Ensure collaboration across internal departments and external partners.
β Identify and escalate project risks or issues to ensure timely resolution.

Work Environment:
β Work may be done indoors or outdoors with exposure to heat, cold, rain, and wind. It is expected to be exposed to heavy machinery, loud tools, dust, debris and heights.
Qualifications Preferred:
β OSHA 10/30 Certification.
β Experience working with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
β Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Required:
β Bachelorβs degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or minimum 5 years work experience in construction project management
β 1β3 years experience in construction project coordination or fieldwork.
β Working knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards
β Excellent computer skills β Google G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms), Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new platforms.
β Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
β Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
β Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
β Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
βAbility to supervise a field crew when needed
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
