Construction Project Manager

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires excellent leadership skills to coordinate teams, manage contracts, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. We are seeking a Construction Project Manager in Corpus Christi and San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to facilitate effective project execution. • Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Bluebeam. • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations. • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations. • Prepare construction estimates and manage contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors. • Utilize Bluebeam for document management, collaboration, and communication among team members. • Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and milestones achieved. Requirements • Proven experience in construction project management or a related field. • Strong knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols. • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics. • Computer savvy and knowledge of Dropbox is preferred. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. • Ability to perform construction estimating accurately for budgeting purposes.
