Construction Project Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager to lead and oversee various construction projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of construction project management methodologies. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing risks, and ensuring successful development and execution. Your expertise in time management, material procurement, leadership, and craftsmanship will be crucial in driving projects to completion while meeting quality standards and deadlines. Responsibilities • Lead construction project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. • Coordinate project activities across teams to ensure alignment and timely execution. • Manage risks by identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies. • Communicate effectively with in-field employees and office members to provide updates on project progress and address concerns. • Negotiate resources and timelines with internal teams to optimize project outcomes. • Coordinate schedules that align with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with industry standards. • Oversee the implementation of OSHA standards within projects to enhance efficiency and safety. Requirements • Proven experience in construction project management, with a strong background in team management. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with crew and sub-contractors at all levels. • Proficiency in risk management techniques to identify and mitigate potential challenges. • Experience in project coordination with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong negotiation skills to facilitate resource allocation and timeline adjustments. • Experience in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
