Construction Project Manager

Construction Project Manager – Southern California (San Diego Area) CORE Construction – National General Contractor CORE Construction is seeking a results-drivenProject Managerto join our Southern California team. This role will oversee one large project or multiple projects in the San Diego area, with construction values up to $100M. Key Responsibilities: • Lead all phases of project delivery: startup, execution, and closeout • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and design professionals • Review and manage contract documents, drawings, submittals, procurement, cost, and schedule • Support preconstruction efforts, including constructability reviews, bidding, and proposals Qualifications: • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction and project management • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred • Knowledge of GC, Lease-Leaseback, and Design-Build delivery methods • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills • Expertise in project sequencing, specifications, and subcontract negotiations • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and project management software • Experience with CMAR, K-12 LLB & Design-Build projects preferred Benefits Include: 401(k) + Match, Health/Dental/Vision Insurance, HSA & FSA Options, Life Insurance, PTO, Relocation Assistance, Tuition Reimbursement About CORE: Founded in 1937, CORE is a nationally ranked Construction Management, Design-Build, and General Contracting firm with offices in eight states.
