Construction Staff Accountant

TheStaff Accountantwill prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To: • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintains the general ledger • Assist in all aspects of Month-End close (eventually take the lead in close) • Process and record all cash collections and other deposits • Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities, and expenses) • Reconciles bank accounts, cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collections • Files tax forms with state and local government agencies • Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures • Performs other related duties as assigned Skills & Experience Required: • Degree in Finance or Accounting • Minimum of 3 years' experience in finance/accounting or similar role • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy • Able to identify errors and discrepancies • Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel Perks & Pluses: • Base Salary: $60k-$70k DOE • Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Time, Paid Holidays • 401(k) with Discretionary Company Match • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Gothic Landscape, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer!
