Construction Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. Duties • Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials. • Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers in their duties. • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. • Load and unload materials from trucks and transport them to designated areas on-site. • Help with the assembly of structures and installations as directed. • Participate in site clean-up activities at the end of each workday. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans Key Responsibilties: • Measure, cut, and assemble wood or metal framing components • Install floor joists, subfloors, wall studs, roof rafters, and other structural elements • Ensure all framing work meets building codes, safety standards, and project specifications • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently • Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and quality expectations • Maintain a clean and organized worksite Qualifications: • 2+ years of framing or general carpentry experience preferred • Proficiency in reading construction plans and measurements • Strong knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and tools • Ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions • Reliable transportation to and from job sites • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs • Standing, bending, and climbing ladders for extended periods • Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions Benefits: • Competitive pay based on experience • Opportunities for overtime • Career growth within the company • Supportive team environment Experience • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals. • Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus. • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively within a team environment. • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). • A valid driver's license is advantageous but not mandatory.
