Construction Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in various construction projects, assisting in the building and restoration of structures. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites. Responsibilities • Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. • Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure structural integrity and weatherproofing. • Engage in concrete forming activities, including mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces. • Support roofing projects by assisting with the installation and repair of roofs. • Participate in masonry tasks, including laying bricks and blocks as per project specifications. • Collaborate with carpenters to build frameworks, structures, and other components as outlined in blueprints. • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. • Assist with the management of construction materials and tools on-site. Skills • Proficiency in framing • Experience with drywall, plumbing and some electrical • Knowledge of roofing systems and installation techniques • Understanding of construction management principles to support project efficiency. • Ability to read blueprints is a plus • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on construction sites.
