Consultant - Security Guardium

Introduction
IBM Technology Expert Labs Security (IBM Security Professional Services) is looking for Consultant with deep Data Security expertise with proven record in Security domain and experience with IBM Security Guardium Portfolio. The candidate will have the ultimate responsibility of delivering the design deployment configuration tuning and knowledge transfer of IBM Security Guardium Portfolio products (Guardium Data Protection Guardium Data Encryption Guardium Insights) for Expert Labs customers. This is a customer facing role.

Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Technology Expert Labs Security (IBM Security Professional Services) is looking for Consultant with deep Data Security expertise with proven record in Security domain and experience with IBM Security Guardium Portfolio. The candidate will have the ultimate responsibility of delivering the design deployment configuration tuning and knowledge transfer of IBM Security Guardium Portfolio products (Guardium Data Protection Guardium Data Encryption Guardium Insights) for Expert Labs customers. This is a customer facing role.

The consultant will be expected to lead all phases of IBM Security Guardium design consultancy and implementation engagements.

• Scoping Planning Design and Implementation of IBM Guardium Portfolio solutions
• Managing delivery of services as per scope specified in Statement of Work
• Provide deep technical expertise to ensure IBM Guardium Portfolio solutionsare deployed and operating to deliver the technical and business results required by the customer
• To act as a trusted client advisor to customers

Security Practice and Delivery:

• Participate in client meetings to gather and validate market requirements
• Lead clients in requirements gathering system definition and documentation.
• Participate in project delivery to varying degrees depending on project complexity and geography needs
• Establish demonstrated client relationships in key accounts to help progress the IBM Security portfolio

Individual must have a strong interest and expertise in Security in general with preference for Data Security. A qualified individual would be familiar with industry blogs key publications in the field of security and would have full awareness of any recent significant security events.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At Least 5 years of experience is required on IBM Security Guardium Solutions
• Deep knowledge of IBM Guardium Data Protection
• Understanding of Guardium Data Encryption Guardium Insights
• Installation and Configuration of IBM Security Guardium Solutions and its dependent components/products
• Advanced skills in configuration customization integration tuning and troubleshooting of IBM Security Guardium Solutions
• Experience with SQL language
• Understanding of database security & compliance standards
• Experience with database environments such as Oracle DB2 SQL Server
• Understanding Network and product software security concepts
• Experience with creation of custom queries and reports to meet security regulatory and compliance needs
• Good understanding of distributed computing technologies including server hardware operating systems networks & storage.
• Knowledgeable of Big Data technology and environments
• Troubleshooting of IBM Security Guardium issues during implementation
• Understanding of Container deployment and orchestration
• Deep knowledge of best practices for IBM Security Guardium implementation
• Experience inIBM Security Guardium migration/upgrade scenario
• Linux/Unix administration skills
• Experience in Java Java Script Python
• Excellent Communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of cloud environments

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Industry certifications like CISSP CISM would be added advantage
• Working knowledge of Containers
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies
• Familiarity with SOX PCI-DSS and GLBA audit processes
