Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Consumer Health Business Manager to lead our expansion into the direct-to-consumer self-test kit market. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing our commercial strategy for selling diagnostic self-test products through major online platforms and national retail chains. The ideal candidate will drive business growth by managing key accounts, developing channel strategies, and ensuring successful product launches across e-commerce and brick-and-mortar retail channels.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute commercial strategies for self-test kit products across online marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart.com) and retail channels (CVS, Walgreens, Savon)
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the consumer health diagnostic space
• Create and manage business plans, forecasts, and budgets for the self-test product portfolio
• Lead product launch strategies and go-to-market plans for new self-test offerings
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at major online platforms and retail pharmacy chains
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional terms with strategic partners
• Manage day-to-day relationships with Amazon Vendor/Seller Central and other e-commerce platforms
• Collaborate with retail buyers to optimize product placement, inventory levels, and promotional activities
• Develop and implement promotional strategies, including digital marketing campaigns and in-store promotions
• Create compelling product content, including descriptions, images, and A+ content for online listings
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats
• Work with marketing team to develop consumer-focused messaging and educational materials
• Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback across all channels
• Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions
• Coordinate with supply chain team to ensure product availability and optimize inventory management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for consumer health products
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in consumer healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sales
• Proven track record in e-commerce and retail channel management
• Experience with FDA-regulated consumer health products preferred
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools (Vendor Central, Seller Central, etc.)
• Understanding of digital marketing and SEO principles for online retail
• Knowledge of retail planning systems and EDI processes
Preferred:
• Experience in healthcare or medical device industry
• Deep understanding of Amazon's platform and other major e-commerce marketplaces
• Experience working with national retail pharmacy chains
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for over-the-counter diagnostic products
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Experience with consumer health product regulations and compliance requirements
• Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
• Excellent communication and presentation skill
