Job Description
The Consumer Product Coordinator will assist the VP, Consumer Products with planning, developing and implementing the overall company's consumer product strategy.
Responsibilities:
β’ Research and outreach to new stores for Passport Program
β’ Ongoing communication with Passport Program participants
β’ Facilitate stamp creation/shipment & update/maintain destination list for Passport Program
β’ Manage Consumer Product inventory which includes checking stock of merch/packaging, managing re-stock list, maintaining cleanliness of inventory space, and maintaining accuracy of inventory via Shopify
β’ Facilitate status of ongoing orders with vendors
β’ Search for new vendors for upcoming product ideas
β’ Update product cost tracker & vendor list
β’ Ensure timely submission and receipt of vendor payments
β’ Check Shopify orders for new and unfulfilled items
β’ Fulfill Shopify items
β’ Check Shop email for customer issues
β’ Manage data tracking across consumer products
β’ Coordinate with inventory department to make sure inventory on Shopify matches actual inventory numbers
β’ Update product images/descriptions and add new products to Shopify with appropriate tags
β’ Stay on top of shipping changes and charges
β’ Assist with Branding/Convention which includes:
β’ Update/restock personal touches: tissue paper, tape, thank you for ordering cards
β’ Update Passport Outreach email as necessary
β’ Assure the synchronization of brand perception on convention floor (i.e., appropriate banners, tablecloths, etc.)
β’ Make notes of pros/cons of convention set ups for future use
β’ When necessary, secure the booth placement and rental of additional items
β’ Ensure all public-facing merchandise items are seen by the CEO prior to convention
β’ Customer Service point of contact:
β’ Respond to shop emails in a timely manner
β’ Make sure packages are going out correctly and with some pizazz!
β’ Check in with Passport Stores on the program and their concerns/needs
β’ Pass along necessary customer complaints/requests to VP, Consumer Products
β’ Address issues brought up via socials (coordinate with Marketing Manger)
β’ Other ad hoc projects as company growth continues
Qualifications:
β’ 1-2 years experience in consumer product strategy or equivalent
β’ 1-2 years of entertainment industry work experience
β’ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
β’ Comfortable engaging in high volume vendor correspondence
β’ Able to multitask and work within regular deadlines
β’ Basic graphic-design/Photoshop experience a plus
β’ Deep historical knowledge of film, both past and present, and love of film
β’ Ability to improvise and shift priorities as opportunities arise
