Job Description

Summary: The Container Flow Lead is responsible for monitoring container inventory levels and ensuring containers are properly stored and tracked throughout the logistics process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: β€’ Maintain container counts for container coordinator to update Parts+ system and customer portals β€’ Ensure production is using the correct packaging (boxes vs totes) during production runs across all shifts. β€’ Assist in keeping outside container storage areas organized. β€’ Maintain cardboard and pallet counts daily to ensure inventory accuracy. β€’ Coordinate with warehouse operations and resolving logistical challenges. β€’ Assist in keeping cardboard usage to a minimum and ensuring accurate inventory of all cardboard. β€’ Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety related rules and regulations Responsible to follow all USF policies and procedures β€’ Any other duties assigned by the reporting Supervisor and/or Manage Qualifications: β€’ To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Plastic Injection Molding background is helpful. β€’ Ability to work independently with self-direction once initially trained β€’ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. β€’ Ability to write simple correspondence. β€’ Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization. β€’ Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's β€’ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. β€’ Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
