ROLE SUMMARY:
Healthmine is looking for a Content Lead to join our growing team responsible for end-user communications. This role will serve in a strategic, creative, and operational capacity to develop and lead content strategies and lifecycle activities that produce consistent, informative, usable, inspirational, and actionable consumer-oriented content. They will partner closely with the teams in design, product, sales, client, and leadership teams to understand consumer (B2C) needs and develop content strategies across an omnichannel, personalized, data-driven system. As the content team leader, they will ensure Healthmine is continuously communicating the value, benefits, and features of our client’s programs in meaningful ways to our end users. This role will lead a team of copywriters and editors to govern content standards and produce high-performing healthcare content at scale.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Content Strategy: Develop content standards, patterns, components, systems, and templates in an omnichannel (including web, mobile, email, print, text, IVR, call centers) lifecycle-focused framework that supports a library of product and solution content. 
 
Content Scalability: Develop systems and solutions that are highly repeatable, scalable, and efficient in producing white-label versions of communications across client-specific implementations. 
 
Content Governance: Govern the use of standard content and templates that support margin and growth goals. Consult on new needs and use cases and determine how to modify or expand content standards and offerings. Document, train, and support the broader organization in understanding content parameters. Be the internal and client-facing evangelist for best practices within our end-user experiences. Partner with Growth and Client Services teams to effectively sell our standard best practice communications to clients and hold them accountable to guardrails and limitations.
 
Content Effectiveness: Establish a test and learn approach to validate the hypothesis and optimize content performance and response rates. Develop content based on research, insights, user feedback, and other design-thinking methods that help remove bias and assumptions and uncover what drives performance across channels, user types, messaging formats, and many other variables. Understand and leverage the constraints and best practices of each communications channel to optimize performance. 
 
Content Production & Execution: Support existing clients and new clients in standing up white-label versions of Healthmine’s products and services in an implementation cycle. Collaborate with other leaders and teams to ensure an efficient process and content operations. Create content that scales across print, voice, and digital channels.
 
Content Team: Lead a team responsible for the end-to-end content lifecycle: content strategists, technical copywriters, proofreaders, editors, and others. Build, nurture & grow a newly forming team, normalize the teams’ workflows, and mentor team members that have a diverse set of content skills and experiences.
WHAT YOU NEED:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience leading marketing, creative, production, or product design roles/teams.
  • 5+ years’ experience in developing healthcare-specific content, engagements, marketing and/or communications strategies.
  • Deep understanding of best practices to leverage across omnichannel communications channels.
  • Experience partnering with product and technology to optimize delivery workflows, and drive creative operations automation efforts.
  • Experience with content management systems, digital asset management systems, and other technology that supports content scale and organization.
  • Advanced training in user experience design, engagement design, marketing psychology, and/or behavioral science categories.
  • Portfolio of work that demonstrates an understanding of content best practices across omnichannel systems.
  • Strong eye for content strategy, information architecture, structure, formatting, proofing, and editing.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to changes in business priorities.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
