Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Content Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing content marketing strategies that effectively communicate the value of our products/services to our target audience. This role involves working closely with the VP of Marketing, and collaborating with product management, sales, and marketing teams to create compelling content that drives engagement, leads, and sales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Development: Craft and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with the company's product roadmap and overall marketing goals. This includes research, identifying target audiences, setting clear objectives, and determining the best channels and formats for content delivery.
- Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content tailored to various stages of the customer journey. This includes assisting with integrating Centroid M&A product/service portfolios, creation/editing of sales/product/service decks, product blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, product sheets, product/services videos, and assigned product/services campaigns. Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
- Website WP & Optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to update/optimize website using WP, creating content for search engines, increasing visibility, and driving organic traffic to the website.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to understand its impact on engagement, lead generation, and sales. Use insights to refine content strategies and tactics continuously.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product/services managers, sales teams, and marketing colleagues to ensure content meets the needs of both the business and its customers. Facilitate the sharing of product knowledge and marketing insights across teams.
- Project Management: Manage any assigned projects from VP of Marketing, oversee content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content across channels as assigned and scheduled. Oversee proper and timely distribution, ensuring maximum ROI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Technology industry, Oracle, AWS, etc. knowledge is preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in content marketing or a related marketing role, with a focus on product marketing.
- Strong understanding of content marketing strategies, digital marketing, marketing tools (Pardot, Libsyn, YouTube, Social), and SEO best practices.
- Excellent technical/outbound style writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to create content that engages and converts. Technical writing/background is a plus.
- Experience with content management systems, analytics and AI tools, and social media platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
