Summary Position Description:
Responsible to write, develop, and edit, clear, consistent, and inclusive content and coordinating visual content creation to enhance the message. Role will facilitate the content development and delivery for a variety of digital platforms, including websites, blogs, videos, email marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns, social media posts, and more.
Major Duties/Responsibilities: • Own production calendar to track brand, seasonal, ongoing and promotional content timelines, including assets, design, copy, meta data• Assists in all aspects of web and platform content development and management as it relates to hersheyland, brand sites, and consumer emails.• Monitors product performance and leverages available analytics to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement. Recommends opportunities to drive innovation based on data analysis, research, industry trends, and best practices• Manages the design, rebranding, and quality improvement of resources and content submitted by content owners• Partner with brand marketing teams, direct-to-consumer team, sales teams, various internal business units, and agency teams to collect content for marketing communications • Coordinate with an agency partner to define segmentation, send strategy, and maintain a master content and send calendar • Develop and QA emails based on a templated structure; Deploy emails and report out on email results • Optimize marketing communications through the marketing automation platform to drive successful CRM initiatives, increased engagement, and sales • Define and maintain focus on the key messages throughout the consumer experience
Skills/ Competencies/ Qualifications:• Strong Attention to Detail• Editing skills• Strong Writing Skills• Demonstrated communication and project management skills with an understanding of best practices in digital marketing
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: • Education: BS/BA in marketing, design, communications or other comparable field.• Experience: 2+ years crafting digital content.
