Job Description

SC&A is seeking a qualified Continuity, Planning, Training, and Exercise Analyst II to support Federal mission and program activities related to Federal homeland security, emergency management, and resiliency programs with a focus on continuity program delivery. The candidate will provide analytical, training, exercise, and related capabilities associated with Federal Continuity Programs in the areas of policy/doctrine, capability-based assessments, and planning and procedure development, including but necessary limited to, assisting with program management and technical support to various Federal clients; coordinating with applicable intra and inter agency stakeholders to establish and maintain continuity programs; provide collaborative Federal-level technical assistance in the development and/or refinement of plans, policies, and procedures; development and delivery of training and exercises; data collection, analysis, and reporting; meeting and event support. This is a D.C. based position and may require working on site at government locations in the Washington D.C. area at company’s office, telework, or a combination of each.

The qualified candidate will possess:

  • Strong writing/copy editing skills, database and list management skills, and expertise with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Expert written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in SharePoint development.
  • Adept analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience and capabilities to deliver on all aspects of the continuity life-cycle.
  • Fluency and understanding of continuity terminology and Federal continuity requirements.
  • Understanding and experience in applying HSEEP framework for exercise design, deliver, and after action.
  • Experience in designing and delivering continuity related training.
  • Certified CEMs and PMPs viewed favorably.
  • Pre-existing security clearance viewed favorably.

Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably emergency management field
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in homeland security, continuity of operations and exercise planning
  • Expertise with general office skills and software
  • Ability to handle information confidentially
