(Contract / Freelance) Graphic Designer for PR Agency

The Blue Wing Agency, LLC is a new boutique public relations, marketing, and communications firm serving clients across industries with standout storytelling, sharp strategy, and design that gets noticed. We believe in thoughtful, effective visuals that elevate messaging—and we're looking to build a bench of creative partners who do, too. The Role We’re seeking afreelance or contract-based Graphic Designerwho can translate brand identities and campaign strategies into compelling visual content. This role is ideal for an independent creative professional who thrives in collaborative environments but is confident owning the design process from concept to completion. Position can transition into a part time or full time opportunity after one year. Project Scope Includes: • Branding elements and visual identity development • Digital and print ads • Social media graphics and templates • PR decks, pitch documents, and case study layouts • Event collateral and signage • Media kits and press materials • Infographics and visual storytelling assets • Long-form magazine or brochure template Responsibilities: • Collaborate with account leads and writers to interpret creative briefs and deliver high-quality design assets • Ensure visual consistency across client campaigns and deliverables • Manage timelines and revisions across multiple projects • Deliver final, production-ready files in the correct formats and specifications • Occasionally assist in developing new templates or visual standards for the agency • Ability to meet agency leads and/or local clients as needed in the San Antonio and Boerne, TX area. Qualifications • 3+ years of professional design experience (agency or client-facing freelance preferred) • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); bonus for Canva • Strong grasp of layout, typography, color theory, and composition • Ability to balance creativity with strategic communication goals • Comfortable working independently with remote teams and tight deadlines • A clean, modern, adaptable design style with strong attention to detail • Portfolio showcasing a range of brand, digital, and marketing design work • Batchelor’s degree in graphic design preferred Preferred Skills: • Experience with PR, advertising, editorial, or B2B design • Strong website design skills • Light motion graphics or animation skills To Apply Please send your résumé, portfolio link if available, hourly/project rates, and availability [email protected].
