How you'll make an impact

• You support the drafting of Contracts, Subcontracts and Supply Contracts and ensures that relevant (supply / sub) contracts contain appropriate contract terms to protect Hitachi Energy's interest including flow-down of main contract terms
• You develop the negotiation strategy and support negotiations
• You ensure that own assigned portfolio of contracts or specific project(s) (back-office or at the site) in the business follow contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with applicable procedures
• You provide guidance and leadership on contract related matters to cross functional business team members
• You ensure insurance provisions within the contract are adhered to and coordinates with Insurance Risk Management regarding occurrences that may be covered by customer / third party or Hitachi Energy provided insurance
• You support in handling formal dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration proceedings

• Ability to read, write, speak and negotiate in German and English
• Bachelor's degree in Law
