Nimbus Therapeutics has an outstanding opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our team.Ā  Reporting to the Senior Director of Contracts, you will be responsible for providing timely processing, and administration of all Nimbus contracts.Ā  This is a unique opportunity to contribute considerably and interact with our internal stakeholders and be the point of contact with outside parties on most contract matters. As an individual contributor, your ability to provide insight and apply prior experience will help influence ongoing department improvement initiatives and the overall growth of the organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Administer contracts, which includes managing contract intake and assignment of requests in a timely fashion
  • Work with members of the contracts team to review and/or draft a variety of contracts including but not limited to, Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) and related documentation, Work Orders (WOs), Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Purchase Orders (POs), Consulting Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, subsequent amendments and other requests, as applicable
  • Become a subject matter expert of Nimbus’ Contracts Management System (currently Conga Contracts)
  • Review and interpret vendor quotes and/or proposals and translate scope of work and payment terms into Nimbus’ pre-approved templates (contracts, WOs, Payment Schedules, etc.)
  • Work closely with Business Operations, Clinical Operations, early stage Discovery groups and Finance team to execute and implement associated contracts Amendments and general payment terms information
  • Work in collaboration with cross functional teams and external contract vendors to ensure accurate, complete and timely processing of contracts (equally tracking in-progress contracts and following up with vendors for status
  • Mange an individual queue of contracts with the ability to effectively prioritize
  • Process the collection of electronic or wet signature, as applicable
  • Enter contracts accurately into Contract Management System and run subsequent reports for the operations, finance, and business development teams

These qualifications will help this role be successful:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Thorough understanding of the contract management process, including redline review, drafting, negotiation, approval, and signature processes
  • Knowledge with Clinical Trial Agreement contracts and process
  • Highly organized self-starter with ability to work efficiently individually and as a part of a team
  • Cooperative team member, accountable, embodies Nimbus core values
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Meets deadlines, demonstrates effective use of time, and handles multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Experience with Contracts Management System(s)
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ready to learn new applications and systems
