Controller

Our firm seeks to fill an immediate need for a Controller. The Controller will oversee all the financial procedures of our company. As a Controller, you’ll monitor the company’s financial status, review quarterly and annual budgets and manage accounting transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth knowledge of accepted accounting principles and experience with risk management to ensure the firm complies with accounting regulations and mitigate risks. Essential Functions: • Prepares accurate and timely financial statements • Maintains internal controls of firm assets as well as protecting the firm’s financial statements • Oversees the accounting and billing departments • Manages the firm’s cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable • Oversees, reviews, and approves accounts payable and account reconciliation • Coordinate with a third party accounting firm • Manage all banking relationships and services • Oversees cash disbursement procedures • Ensures appropriate insurance coverage is maintained Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
