Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations and performance of the company. This role involves financial planning, reporting, analysis, cost management, budgeting, and ensuring that manufacturing operations are aligned with company objectives.
Duties:
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and post journal entries to general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Maintain the chart of accounts.
• Manage the month-end process including communication of key deliverables.
• Prepare financial statements and consolidated financials.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts to ensure no unsupported balances.
• Assist with annual audit.
• Ensure payroll is processed in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly submission and compilation of bank AR ineligible and inventory ineligible reports.
• Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Determine proper handling of financial transactions and approve transactions within designated limits.
• Make recommendations regarding the accounting for reserves, assets, and expenses.
• Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company policies and procedures.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent financial discrepancies.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team. Provide training and guidance to staff.
• Maintains consistent attendance, professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience required.
• Intermediate skills in Excel.
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing and audit environment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
