Controller - Dealership Experience Required

This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced professional to have complete oversight of a great department with a focus on centralized invoicing of sales, oversee team that registers and titles vehicles, inventory, managing the line of credit, and lead process improvements. This person will also have great leadership qualities and be responsible for training and supervising the team and collaborating directly with the sales and other operational departments. Essential Functions: · Lead and manage the team for accurate reporting and meeting all deadlines · Collaborate with sales personnel on required information and documents to complete sales processes and practices . · Reconcile general ledger accounts directly associated with the sales administration process - inventory account, line of credit/floor plan accounts, sales expense accrual accounts, accounts receivables from sales. · Ensure detailed processes are developed and adhered to ensure accurate processing and timely processing of sales, titling of units, and any other documentation requirements needed. · Create, validate, and disseminate ad hoc reports related to sales and sales processes. · Responsible for the mentoring and development of the team. · Assist in managing various vendors and processes related to vehicle add-ons and other costs. · Performs other duties as assigned.
