RedLine Solutions is a well-established, technology-driven company that provides barcode and RFID hardware, proprietary software for the produce industry, and professional integration services. We’re a 20-person company with over two decades of success helping businesses achieve operational visibility, traceability, and efficiency from field to warehouse.
We’re looking for a hands-on and strategic Controller / Finance Manager to lead accounting operations, improve processes, and help shape our financial systems as we grow. This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional seeking a balance of leadership responsibility and practical, day-to-day financial management.
What You’ll Do
- Manage all accounting functions including A/R, A/P and cash management
- Manage payroll (via PEO) and lead H.R. department
- Oversee the month-end close, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Lead and develop the Admin and Customer Service team to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage the transition from Sage 500 to a small business–suitable ERP system; evaluate and recommend the best solution for our needs.
- Strengthen internal controls, policies, and accounting workflows.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in partnership with the CEO.
- Prepare weekly cash flow and sales reports and participate in management reviews.
- Oversee multistate sales tax compliance (Avalara) and coordinate with our CPA for Federal and State income tax filings.
- Partner with leadership on financial strategy and process improvements that scale with company growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 3+ in a leadership or controller-track role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting best practices.
- Highly proficient with Excel, including pivot tables and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable in a hands-on, small business environment where you can make an immediate impact.
- Integrity, ownership mentality, and a proactive approach to improvement and results.
Preferred Experience
- Background in hardware resale, software/SaaS, or professional services.
- Prefer Experience managing accounting system transitions or ERP implementations.
- Experience with Avalara, Sage 500, or small business ERP systems such as QuickBooks Online Advanced, Zoho Books/Inventory or Sage Intacct.
- Prior involvement in financial reporting for lenders, investors, or audits.

Compensation
$130,000 – $150,000 annual base salary, plus performance-based bonus, 401(k) match, and stock option participation. Total compensation commensurate with experience and contribution.
