How we LEAD:

The Streaming Marketing Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Capitol CMG Catalog Marketing & Global Streaming teams. Key support roles include distribution and communication of all product information, asset management, streaming reports, playlist promotions & strategy.

The ideal candidate will help grow music consumption by assisting the Commercial Partnerships team as they help develop systems and strategies that equip Capitol CMG to continue to be the market leader in the Christian and Gospel genre. This candidate should be organized, relational, a problem solver, a dedicated team player, and a champion for innovation and relentless execution, developing resources that exceed the expectations of our partners (Label/Artist, CCMG staff, and Partners) in keeping with Capitol CMG's Mission and Vision.

How you'll CREATE:

  • Be a passionate advocate for our artist's music.
  • Create & update label-owned playlists.
  • Generate both fixed & dynamic playlists for our artist roster.
  • Assist with global and catalog marketing plans & execution.
  • Assist administratively with various team needs, i.e. research and data collection for key catalog strategies, asset organization, global streaming trend reports, and international marketing plans.
  • Compile and distribute street week positioning reports as needed.
  • Collate pitch decks/artist marketing proposals for Global Streaming & Catalog Marketing team.
  • Utilize global streaming and marketing data to support placement and partner opportunities.
  • Complete invoices & expense reports for the Commercial Partnerships team as assigned.
  • Plan, coordinate, and book commercial meetings and events as needed.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, discussions, and planning activities.
  • Coordinate and book team travel as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Basic understanding of digital service providers such as Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon, YouTube, and others.
  • Basic experience with analytics, search engine, and social media marketing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Suite preferred.
  • Extremely organized with superior time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of streaming, sales, & marketing fundamentals within the music industry.
  • Ability to be proactive by identifying potential issues and taking action to rectify.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, produce high-quality results under tight deadlines in a team environment, and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and desire to optimize processes and efficiencies.
  • Knowledge of international marketing & key territories.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills with emphasis on relationship building with labels and partners.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • College degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in streaming or marketing.
