Copper HVAC

Primary Responsibilities: • Cutting, bending, and flaring copper tubingused in ACR systems. • Installing copper pipesfor refrigerant lines in HVAC or refrigeration units. • Brazing and solderingcopper joints to ensure leak-free connections. • Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematicsfor HVAC systems. • Testing and maintainingcopper pipe installations to ensure system performance. • Evacuating and charging systemswith refrigerant, ensuring proper flow through copper lines. Skills and Tools Needed: • Tube cutters, benders, flaring tools. • Oxy-acetylene torches for brazing. • Pressure gauges, leak detectors. • Knowledge of refrigerants and EPA regulations. • Safety equipment (gloves, goggles, etc.).
