Copper Installer Assembler (MVC) - 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Copper Installer Assembler (MVC) - 2nd Shift.

Shift Hours: 3:30pm - 2am Monday - Thursday.

The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour, plus a $2/ hour increase for 2nd shift differential.

What you'll do:

The primary function of the job is to perform assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of MVC equipment. Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies.

Job Responsibilities:
A. Construct, assemble, and/or repair Layout Copper.
B. Install/Fabricate layout copper to accommodate customer connections.
C. Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications.
D. Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained.
E. Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics.
F. Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Arden, NC
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Copper

Position Criteria:

• Computer skills - Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
• Able to lift 35 pounds - waist, shoulder, overhead
• Proven history of safe work habits
• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
• Must be able to work overtime - weekdays and weekends
