Copy Editor

Qube Cinema Technology is looking for a skilled copy editor to create and edit subtitles, with a keen eye on accuracy, clarity, and consistency. The copy editor will be responsible for ensuring that all written content of the subtitles team meets the company's standards for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style. Open to freshers. 
Knowledge (reading and writing) of Telugu is a must. Candidates who are also familiar with writing and understanding an additional language - Tamil/English - will have an extra advantage. The consultant contract will be for 3 months initially. Depending on the work proficiency we will extend the contract / make an offer to join as a full-time employee. 
Note: ONLY looking for candidates who can work night shifts (11pm to 7am). This is a work-from-office only position. There will be some deliveries over weekends depending on movie release schedule. Compensations day offs for those will be figured in accordance with the company policies.
Key qualifications and responsibilities: 
-Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity and consistency. 
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
-Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules. 
-Familiarity with English style guides.
